StartEditWelcome to the discussion. A place where we can work together! Me-123567-Me (talk) 02:39, 18 January 2017 (UTC) Rescue!EditI added this section under articles. Let's not list too many articles there, and instead improve what is there, and then go hunting for the next 5 - 10 articles. That way we can get some real movement made. We can also discuss here articles that may not be able to be rescued if we can't find sources. Me-123567-Me (talk) 21:01, 18 January 2017 (UTC) ProposalEdit@Me-123567-Me: I propose that we change the title of this WikiProject to WikiProject Green Movement. Thoughts? J947 21:18, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
Handling of uncited materialEditRecently I removed a bunch of uncited material from a few articles such as the Ecologist Green Party of Mexico and the Green Party of Rhode Island. Many articles like this sit with tags asking for sources for years. Bcharles thinks they should just remain tagged. What do you think? Me-123567-Me (talk) 17:07, 27 January 2017 (UTC)
StandardsEditWhat kinds of standards do we need to set for our articles? Length? Expectations? Any special templates we don't have? Me-123567-Me (talk) 02:54, 28 January 2017 (UTC) Merge discussionEditI've proposed merging both the Green Party of Texas and the Green Party of New Jersey into List of state Green Parties in the United States. Discussion at Talk:List of state Green Parties in the United States. Me-123567-Me (talk) 03:47, 28 January 2017 (UTC) Target article of the monthEditJanuary-February 2017: Green Party of PennsylvaniaEditBcharles had the great idea that we should have a target article of the month! I selected Green Party of Pennsylvania randomly for the remainder of January (or do we want to do mid-month to mid-month?) Which article should we do for February? Me-123567-Me (talk) 20:25, 28 January 2017 (UTC)
I suggest for procedure that mid-month, starting around 15 Feb, anyone who has a good article for target article can nominate here on this talk page and we can discuss them all under one subject heading. Me-123567-Me (talk) 01:09, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
I've also thought of having a target article of the week, which may be nominations for TAM (target article of the month). Thoughts? J947 02:45, 8 February 2017 (UTC) Warning - edit war on Green Party of New JerseyEditA quick note - two users seem to be caught in an edit war on Green Party of New Jersey. I warned both and started a discussion at Talk:Green Party of New Jersey. Me-123567-Me (talk) 01:19, 30 January 2017 (UTC)
Target article of the month: January 2019EditI would like to nominate Jo-Ann Roberts the new interim leader of the Green Party of Canada of which the article is on AfD for target article of the month. Me-123567-Me (talk) 18:28, 8 November 2019 (UTC) Categories and templateEditIs there a way we can differentiate when we add the {{Wikiproject GP}} banner to various talk pages so not all end up in the Wikiproject articles category if it's not an article? Like a category just for files, and another for templates? Me-123567-Me (talk) 22:12, 8 February 2017 (UTC) Wikipedia ads?EditAnyone want to create an ad on behalf of the Wikiproject for Wikipedia ads? See: Template:Wikipedia ads. Me-123567-Me (talk) 05:09, 9 February 2017 (UTC) UserboxEditI've added a new category - Category:WikiProject Green Politics participants so that folks who add the project userbox to their pages will be auto-added to the category. Me-123567-Me (talk) 19:57, 10 February 2017 (UTC) New layoutEditI've put in a new layout that is used by many Wikiprojects. It is a tab-based layout. The main page is pretty much the same, but a few key areas that should grow were moved off to sub-pages. Me-123567-Me (talk) 19:58, 10 February 2017 (UTC) Target article of the month - March 2017EditMoved to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Green Politics/Target. Me-123567-Me (talk) 20:10, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
List of US elected politiciansEditI started a List of Green politicians who have held office in the United States based on the GPUS website here. I need help getting stuff added. Not every item has a source, but most of them are fairly easy to find on Google. Me-123567-Me (talk) 19:54, 17 February 2017 (UTC) Arizona Green PartyEditIn case anyone cares, it seems Arizona Green Party will be the subject of intense editing by students. I say good luck to them! Me-123567-Me (talk) 04:31, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
Help! - Template:GPCEditAnother user keeps changing the template to a darker colour than the parties in Canada use. I could use some help, though I did leave a note on the user's talkpage and suggested they read our colour guidelines. Me-123567-Me (talk) 22:32, 26 February 2017 (UTC)
Green Party of IrelandEditI've noticed that the article for the Irish Greens doesn't say much about their platform at all. Would anyone be interested in helping me make drastic changes to the article? Although I've been a Wikipedian for many years now, I don't have a whole lot of heavy editing experience, and I could use the help. Necropolis Hill (talk) 01:00, 14 March 2017 (UTC) RfCEditThe RfC located here may be of interest to members of this project. Beyond My Ken (talk) 00:30, 24 March 2017 (UTC) CapitalismEditGiven that many, if not most, Green parties world-wide are either anti-capitalist, or support extensive reform and regulation of capitalism, I'm going to create a "Green Politics" section on the article for anti-capitalism. The trend in recent years has been for many Green parties to take a shift to the left and believe that capitalism is unsustainable. This movement is largely, though not always, separate from the socialist movement. Greens are usually middle-class and do not have the foundational concept of class struggle on which socialist ideology is based. Necropolis Hill (talk) 17:00, 30 March 2017 (UTC) New target article?EditAny nominations for the next target article? Me-123567-Me (talk) 17:27, 12 June 2017 (UTC) Can I ask for some contributions from Australian editors to a current discussion on the talk page of Lee Rhiannon Gumsaint (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 02:53, 1 July 2017 (UTC)
Articles for deletion?EditDon't forget to keep an eye out on the deletion alerts! Me-123567-Me (talk) 18:39, 28 July 2017 (UTC) Green New DealEditThanks to the Democrats, this article is getting a lot of editing and attention. So just keep an eye out that everything added is both verifiable and not vandalism. Me-123567-Me (talk) 18:39, 3 March 2019 (UTC) A new newsletter directory is out!EditA new Newsletter directory has been created to replace the old, out-of-date one. If your WikiProject and its taskforces have newsletters (even inactive ones), or if you know of a missing newsletter (including from sister projects like WikiSpecies), please include it in the directory! The template can be a bit tricky, so if you need help, just post the newsletter on the template's talk page and someone will add it for you.
PEI MLA'sEditSo with the election of 8 Greens in PEI, new articles were created. I ensured their talk pages were tagged with {{Wikiproject GP}}. We should keep an eye out for vandalism over the next few weeks. Me-123567-Me (talk) 19:08, 24 April 2019 (UTC) PEIEditI started a new discussion over on the talk page of the Global Greens to ask how the PEI Greens should be included. Me-123567-Me (talk) 21:20, 26 April 2019 (UTC) JasonCarswellEditThis user made a number of batch edits to the various provincial green party articles related to the Green Party of Canada. Problem was mostly fixed and communication opened with JasonCarswell (talk · contribs). Me-123567-Me (talk) 17:55, 29 October 2019 (UTC) RFC discussionEditAn RFC has been started at Talk:Jo-Ann_Roberts#RFC_about_notability_tag over whether the notability tag should remain. Me-123567-Me (talk) 23:45, 14 November 2019 (UTC) Leadership election articlesEditKnown leadership elections that I know of going on:
