  • DJ Daryl - the article has several issues, the list of links should be reviewed and transformed into both refs and external links. Less Unless (talk) 20:39, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
  • VSCO girl - Is not written like an encyclopedia article, perpetutates the sterotype that it describes with mentioning origin, use, etc. Needs a FULL rewrite. P,TO 19104 (talk) (contribs) 17:27, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
Not done. P,TO 19104, a rewrite request goes beyond the scope of this project, and may well be more suited for WP:GOCER. — WILDSTARtalk 22:33, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
WildStar, I've un-struck this entry because looking at the page, I do not think it needs to be rewritten from scratch. PJvanMill (talk) 22:46, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
  •   Note: The article has already been submitted to WP:GOCER. — WILDSTARtalk 18:03, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

Fixed bare URLs, spelling and syntax errors. -- WILDSTARtalk 12:39, 29 June 2020 (UTC)

Done Long story short: there was a copyvio, I overreacted and did some stupid things, but in the end the article was fixed. PJvanMill (talk) 12:04, 26 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Murdered for Being Different - some help cleaning up this page would be most appreciated. It is mostly in regards to improving the wording of the article, grammatical corrections and improvements, and minor issues such as the same page being linked more than once etc. Helper201 (talk) 21:43, 24 June 2020 (UTC)
Note: I've identified some other issues: parts of it read as if they were written by a fan. I'm done with the lead section. PJvanMill (talk) 21:55, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
Note: for the specific cleanup work to be done, see the article's failed good article nomination, points 1 and 4. PJvanMill (talk) 00:25, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
Fixed bare URL, reduced number of duplicate links per MOS:DL. -- WILDSTARtalk 11:37, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
Y Partly done Cleaned up general spelling mistakes and obvious grammar errors, but syntax is still odd in some places - Spellingmistakes, June 30 2020
  • Anton Solomoukha - This article has a lot of strange and awkward wording (possibly written by someone whose second language is English). Lengthy sentences, article misuse, and tense inconsistencies are the main problems. Triethylborane (talk) 23:26, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
Added more refs as there was only 1 Less Unless (talk) 11:04, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
Y Partly done Corrected grammar and sentence structures; removed one redundant section as well as some unnecessary or unusable external links. werewolf (talk) 03:40, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
  • Gummibär - A German virtual singer CGI gummy bear, primarily known for I'm a Gummy Bear (The Gummy Bear Song). Excessive fancruft and tone and grammar issues, the episode descriptions for the cartoon based on the character in particular stike me as being written by a young fan, and they require serious rewriting. Waxworker (talk) 15:33, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
Y Partly done Cleaned up part of the web series section, which has the most issues. Rosalina2427 (talk to me) 18:53, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
Done Less Unless (talk) 21:04, 17 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Creatures (1990 video game) - A 1990 platforming game with cartoon-y graphics contrasted by scenes of torture. Formatting & tone issues, plot is described in an in-universe style. Waxworker (talk) 18:17, 15 June 2020 (UTC)
Not done As the article cites no sources, and I don't seem to be able to find anything better, I've nominated it for deletion. PJvanMill (talk) 22:20, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
Deletion discussion is going to be a keep. Should have looked better. PJvanMill (talk) 14:15, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Jason Altmire - Page involved in edit war based upon WP:RS and WP:MOS edits and clean up notice was issued. In doing the cleanup, the cleanup editor should also review the material in dispute, which is legitimate and RS and has been removed/restored en bloc multiple times today. EdwardsCluaser (talk) 18:11, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
 Y Partly done - References cleaned-up. -- WILDSTARtalk 20:38, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Chiller (video game) - A controversial 1986 light gun arcade game wherein the player takes the role of a torturer; the game's notible for its gore. Possible original research, and the article needs more citations; i've already removed some citations from unprofessional sources such as blogs. Waxworker (talk) 02:21, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Afternoon of a Faun (Robbins) - 1958 ballet. Revival and other companies sections are unreferenced and has formatting issues, should be either removed or reformatted. There had been revivals every few years and the ballet is performed by many companies so my stance is to remove the two sections. Corachow (talk) 16:08, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
Y Partly done - Formatting done by myself and Corachow. Ghostofakina (talk) 19:40, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
Y Partly done - I put the revival section in a table to fix the formatting and found one reference naming members of the original cast but this section needs more references Miriumjenkins (talk) 16:52, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Bolo (1987 video game) - A 1987 multiplayer tank strategy game, and an early game with networking capabilities. Uncited fancruft, and the articles only sources are two primary sources from the creator of the Macintosh port of the game. Waxworker (talk) 01:23, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
Y Partly done I've found a secondary source, which is in "Further reading" for now. I've removed most of the fancruft. It still needs a lot more citations, but many claims in the article could be backed up adequately by a primary source. PJvanMill (talk) 19:12, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
  • African diaspora I've never seen such a jumbled mess of wikitext in my life! Is there no source code editors here any more? You can't even find the lead because of a run on infobox. Is there a cleanup bot that can be run on this? Has many more issues like self-definition the the word disaspora (not in Chromium dictionary but neither was "disproven") and I stopped there and went to the talk page then made a clarifying edit. Jimbo's talk page was promoting the wikiproject with same name so i went there to find out what the word meant. Technophant (talk) 21:26, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Clampi (trojan) - rewrite/context | I've make a series of major edits in an attempt to resolve a resonating issue with "vandalism" (not, AGF) from Youtube fans of Kitboga (streamer) trying to warn people that wp as being used as part of a technical support scam. I've taken courses in technical writing but admittedly this needs some help. I've changed the tense to past tense to reflect the confusion as to with this is either a virus with current potential to cause harm or a historical footnote forshadowing future trojans with ever evolving capabilities. Please absolutely take 20 minutes to read the talk page before commenting. Technophant (talk) 11:56, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
@Technophant This looks quite good actually. It's well-sourced, neutral, and for the most part very readable. I think it's quite clear from the lead that this isn't currently much of a threat. The only improvement that I immediately see is that the second sentence of the lead should be split up into 2 or 3 sentences. Is there any specific problem you need help with? Kind regards from PJvanMill (talk) 19:34, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Christine Shevchenko - Ukrainian-American ballet dancer. The page has many unreliable sources, mainly from blogs and forums, had been cleaned up twice before but was added again, with the unreliable source tag removed by the editor who place those sources back. Also some tone issues in the career section. Corachow (talk) 03:40, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
Y Partly done Cleaned up sources again. Details may need condensing. ThinkHat (talk) 16:28, 3 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Thanks, I actually think the career section can be expanded a little bit, considering her accomplishments, but the early life section has to be trimmed. My earlier attempts had been removed. Corachow (talk) 00:46, 4 June 2020 (UTC)
Y Partly done I cleaned up some grammar and made some details more concise, removing a few I deemed irrelevant. Not sure if more fixing is desired. If no more is, consider this page done. Triethylborane (talk) 17:21, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
  • The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes – excessively long plot. I've already tried compressing the first half but there's extremely excessive details that could use some help cleaning up. Rosalina2427 (talk to me) 04:04, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
  • List of warez groups - A list of warez groups, which publish pirated/cracked content. This article has a serious issue: the site 'defacto2' is used extensively throughout the article, but the site is now usurped and links to straight-up malware that MalwareBytes identifies as a trojan. Many of the links are permanent dead links as well. Waxworker (talk) 01:26, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

  • A Mind Forever Voyaging - A 1985 text adventure game by Infocom with a strong political theme. Excessive fancruft in the form of an excessively long plot description and reads as being written by a fan. It also has formatting issues, and a lack of inline citations. Waxworker (talk) 19:56, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
Y Partly done The referencing still needs work. PJvanMill (talk) 19:35, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
Done on reflection, further improvements would not really be cleanup work. PJvanMill)talk( 19:58, 8 July 2020 (UTC)
  • Hunter (video game) - A 1991 video game using procedurally generated 3D graphics. The gameplay & reception sections read as being written by a fan, and gameplay appears as original research due to this and the lack of inline citations in it. I've already done some work on this article in improving its citations to have archive.org links and such. Waxworker (talk) 18:47, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Team Yankee - A fictional 1987 war novel. Formatting issues, consists primarily of a long plot summary, lack of inline citations. Citations are bare URLs. Waxworker (talk) 17:23, 23 May 2020 (UTC)
Y Partly done converted urls, marked 1 as dead Less Unless (talk) 12:58, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
Comment - Article was under deletion review but has since been restored. Ghostofakina (talk) 22:21, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
Note: I have proposed to merge it into the main article here. Your input would be appreciated. PJvanMill (talk) 13:24, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Up for Grabs (play) - A 2000 play about the international art market. Page reads somewhat as an advertisement and has overall issues with tone and quality of citations. Waxworker (talk) 18:27, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
Y Partly done - Fixed bare URLs -- WILDSTAR talk 06:35, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
 Y Partly done - added 3 refs, removed unreferenced tag.Less Unless (talk) 09:10, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Casanova (comics) - 2006 spy/espionage themed comic series. Uncited fancruft, minor formatting and tone issues. Waxworker (talk) 18:27, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
  • Elvira Fortunato - Inventor of the paper transistor and pioneer of paper electronics. I drafted this article and it's my first article. It's partly translated from the Portuguese Wikipedia page, I added new information and more relevant sources and links to scientific papers. --IsabelAllegro (talk) 10:17, 10 May 2020 (GMT+1)
Note: The cleanup this seems to need is: improving the formatting of the awards section, some copyediting and citing in the first paragraph of the career section, and removing/rewriting/re-citing some statements based on non-independent sources. PJvanMill (talk) 22:02, 21 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Roxlee: This is an article that must adhere to the biographies of living persons policy. It has multiple issues (see its templates), including containing highly promotional content and having virtually no reliable sources. I'm suspecting it may even violate the BLP policy. As such, it urgently needs cleanup. Please help by improving it, and/or correct me if I am wrong. MrSwagger21 (talk) 03:03, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
  • LGBT rights in Zambia - Some issues: duplicate information, citations in incorrect place, lack of coherence, uncited information. Mnonkes (talk)18:58, 10 July 2020 UTC [refresh]
  • Baybayin - Unscholarly content, too much citation needed tags -- CommanderPhoenix (talk) 03:19, 5 May 2020 (UTC) 11:19, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
  •   Note: The Baybayin article presently has no citation needed templates on it. The article does have one "better source needed" template, in its History section. @CommanderPhoenix: Could you perhaps expound upon and provide specific examples regarding your view that the article contains "unscholarly content"? This addition qualification would be be useful. Also, it may be more functional to post your concerns on the article's talk page, where others with an interest in this specific topic are more likely to see what you have to say. North America1000 02:38, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
  •   Note: Struck the rest of the nomination. The cleanup request is vague, and despite being pinged, the user has not responded to provide more information. North America1000 17:48, 29 June 2020 (UTC)

  •   Comment: @Tetrahedron17: Despite being a lengthy article, much (but not all) of it is well-cited. The request above will require extensive copy editing, along with a cleanup editor willing to take what could be a fair amount of time to first learn a great deal about the novel before before embarking upon reducing the article. It is possible that the accommodation of this extensive request may not come into fruition here. Ultimately, this request, relative to the article, would be better suited for WP:GOCER, in my opinion. North America1000 18:11, 29 June 2020 (UTC)

  • Rashid Askari Hi, hope you are fine. I have added and edited few information in this content. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rashid_Askari I was add his recent pic. And some newspaper column which is published in famous newspaper. All the information i added is correct and there is a source for it. But I saw a notification above his page that is "A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. Please discuss further on the talk page." He is not my close connected person. I know him well because he a famous person in our country. How I can remove this message "A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject. It may require cleanup to comply with Wikipedia's content policies, particularly neutral point of view. Please discuss further on the talk page." from his wiki page. Please remove that message from his wiki page. If you want I will clean up my editing from his wiki page. • List of fictional extraterrestrials - Many of the links are broken or don't lead to any of the lists of alien races. • Free Territory: This article lacks secondary, scientific sources. The sources listed are almost exclusively political pamphlets that are obviously biased. The article itself was probably written as fanfiction and continues to be used as such. Sourced information on this civil war groups ethnic cleansing against the german-speaking menonite minority was recently replaced with additional quotes from anarchist propaganda literature. The lack of reputable sources and literature points towards another problem with the subject: The articles claim that the thing described was a state seems doubtfull. There may have been a militia and a warlord, but there are apparently no sources that indicate the existence of any institutions or anything else that would constitute a state or any society. tl;dr: This article seems to be fiction from the political fringes. -- Liberaler Humanist (talk) 15:05, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
  • Could anyone proofread Kain Rivers? Basically, the article is about a Ukrainian singer, which, nevertheless supposedly got media coverage for 2018–2019 to be presented on the Wikipedia, is an orphan and a mess. There are several paragraphs about the Jewish film where the subject acted just a cameo or so, such ad-like bold sentences, like «This is an art “bomb” comparable to the "Schindler's List" by Steven Spielberg», with no actual critic references at hand. On top of that, the authors of the all «interwikie» articles about [[Kain Rivers]] are pretty strange newly registered users with minimum edits except as to [[Kain Rivers]] himself, while his article in Russian has been already deleted thrice for being an ad and spam with no encyclopedic notability (https://ru.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kain_Rivers&action=edit&redlink=1). -- pr12402, 14 November 2019
Y Partly done I've removed the worst of it. I'm finding it difficult to evaluate whether the subject is even notable, as almost all of the sources are in Russian. PJvanMill (talk) 22:25, 1 July 2020 (UTC)

  • Erwadi — a lot of inconsistent formatting as well as a lot of content highly particular and biased for a Wikipedia artcle. — oi yeah nah mate amazingJUSSO ... [ɡəˈdæɪ̯]! 12:41, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
Y Partly done - crr formatting of 2 bare urls --Less Unless (talk) 23:42, 13 November 2019 (UTC)
Y Partly done Deleted large blocks of unreferenced, irrelevant text. Fixed the tone to some extant. The "History" section is yet to be fixed and the validity of its sole reference checked. Tetrahedron17 (talk) 18:09, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
  • Jia (vessel) – Further copy-editing & clean-up required (regarding style, e. g. inconsistent use of present / past tense; regarding formatting, particularly note section Important examples).--Hildeoc (talk) 15:40, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
Y Partly done Cleaned up Important examples.--MarialeegRVT (talk) 05:38, 2 December 2019 (UTC)

Took a stab at copyediting but the article needs better sourcing and further editing Tvannsprecher (talk) 22:35, 15 October 2019 (UTC)
  • List of SS personnel – This quite detailed list needs a general overhaul, in particular regarding a standardized style (cf. e. g. use of uncommon and often German (!) abbreviations), and formatting; also still deficient typography (cf. e. g. false use of hyphens instead of dashes).--Hildeoc (talk) 19:25, 23 September 2019 (UTC)
  • Kristiansand – I just came across this article, which seems to need a thorough clean-up with regard to language (cf. e. g. the – IMHO unintelligible – passage in the Culture section beginning with "The municipality millennium is Tresse - Retranchement").--Hildeoc (talk) 19:12, 18 September 2019 (UTC)
  • Pennsauken Creek - a couple of bare URLs in references. Tinton5 (talk) 19:58, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
Y Partly done Formatted the third reference somewhat better. The second one redirects to the originating site's mainpage. OwnstheBeagles (talk) 22:52, 20 September 2019 (UTC)
  • Pulagam Chinnarayana - This article has been tagged for cleanup saying "This article may have been created or edited in return for undisclosed payments". I am working on updating it to comply with Wikipedia standards and update has been done to a certain extent. Please, do further cleanup if necessary. - Yasshu28 (talk) 15:41, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
  • Tincture (heraldry)#Poetic representation — Needs integration into the rest of the article, the in-text cites turned into footnotes, shortening, and some legwork to track down the citations needing expansion. —A garbage person (talk) 19:02, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
  • Holm Arno Leonhardt - German scientist. Needs shortening and code formatting. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 20:02, 9 September 2019 (UTC)

Not done Given the apparent non-existence of good sources, I've nominated this article for deletion. PJvanMill (talk) 16:02, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
N Deleted: The article was deleted per this AfD discussion. North America1000 23:06, 30 June 2020 (UTC)
  • Bhim Bahadur Tamang – The whole article needs to be cleaned up in terms of grammar/syntax/tone/etc. Not sure if that's copy editing or cleanup, but I flagged it as the latter. -Nostriker (talk) 20:57, 5 August 2019 (UTC)
Y Partly done - fixed spelling and grammatical errors, removed irrelevant sections. werewolf (talk) 05:29, 22 August 2019 (UTC)
  • Tania Vinokur - Israeli dancer. Looks non-notable to me (possibly a deletion candidate). I careful cleanup and references checkup is neede. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 20:50, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
Note: I do not think this is a deletion candidate. The Jerusalem Post and Bangkok Post articles look to be reliable and significant coverage. This needs a lot of work on ref formatting and NPOV/excessive detail. PJvanMill (talk) 21:33, 21 June 2020 (UTC)

Y Partly done: I have removed the IMDb sources, because IMDb is not a reliable source, as per Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources. North America1000 19:04, 29 June 2020 (UTC)
  • GT Dave - American drink industry businessman. A possible COI contribution, but the person looks notable to me. The article, however, needs a bit of cleanup. As an example, I am pretty sure that the phrase "His oldest brother, Adam, graduated from Louisiana State University's medical school in 2008" should be in the article. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 08:26, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Hawaiian Falls - reads like someone copied in a corporate report or internal history of the company. Capitalization of "the Company" and overemphasis on legal negotiations lend support to this position. -- Damenleeturks (talk) 22:16, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
Y Partly done - cleaned up a bit and did a rewrite of "Hawaiian Falls Waco" (same kind of edits could be applied to other sections). --Bbarmadillo (talk) 09:27, 13 July 2019 (UTC)
Y Partly done - Formatted references, trimmed out some unsourced personal info. Still needs primary sourcing replaced/content trimmed. Grisette (talk) 14:31, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
 Y Partly done - fixed references 1 to 10. --Bbarmadillo (talk) 19:39, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Kimono -- an anon user from the UK has added a ton of content just in the past few weeks. This appears to be the same user as a known anon active on the EN WIKT, who appears to be somewhat obsessive-compulsive about Japan, and who is unable to read Japanese. They also appear to source from manga and other works of dubious academic quality. Much of their EN WIKT content has been outright wrong, with the occasionally correct fact mixed in. I suspect that much of the recent additions to Kimono require close vetting. I've done a quick pass through the Kimono#Accessories_and_related_garments section, stripping out patently incorrect "lit" additions to Japanese terms, and correcting their addition of the "hakoseko" description. However, there's a ton of content that I just don't have time to go through.
I'm an admin and editor mainly of Japanese entries on EN WIKT. Feel free to ping me for background on this user, or for any help with the Japanese terms. ‑‑ Eiríkr Útlendi │Tala við mig 17:12, 10 July 2019 (UTC)
