Child's PoseEdit

Hey it seems like you're exactly the person to talk to about the film Child's Pose. It won the Berlinale this year, but it's article is really bad (very stubby). Any chance you could have a go at expanding it?

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. Deletion of your userpageEdit

Hi Terraflorin

Thanks for your link on my talkpage to your comment at the CFD discussion on Category:User:Terraflorin.

I am sorry that your userpage was deleted, and I have now restored it. Cydebot is a bot which implements the decisions made in WP:CFD discussions, and it does a brilliant job, with over 4 million edits in the last 8 years. However, this case seems to have revealed a little bug in cydebot, where it seems to have been confused by the presence of two colons in the name of the category, which made it look like there were two namespaces involved. I will notify the bot owner about this, and hopefully he will be able to fix it.

Sorry again for the inconvenience. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 12:53, 19 January 2014 (UTC)

Hello Terraflorin. I see that over on Romanian Wikipedia you have been contacted by an anonymous IP user and asked to edit the Delia Matache article here on English Wikipedia on his behalf. Proposed deletion of The Adventures of the Submarine DoxEdit

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article The Adventures of the Submarine Dox has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non notable book

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Europe 10,000 Challenge inviteEdit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

I was wondering whether you would be able to prepare an updated screenshot showing the new, blue 'Publish changes' button instead of the old grey one? If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Sam Sailor 13:55, 12 August 2018 (UTC)

File:Mindwarp (film).jpgEdit

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi Terraflorin, Greetings. pls note that stand alone articles do need independent reliable sources to support the contain claimed just like any other articles. Group sources are accepted for stand alone list article and sources in any languages are acceptable. Pls provide inline citations (sources) - see Wikipedia:Stand-alone lists. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 11:55, 17 April 2019 (UTC)
@CASSIOPEIA: Hi. I just added references to Slovak film directors who don't have yet articles on en.wikipedia. Terraflorin (talk) 12:27, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
Hi Terraflorin, Thank you for adding the sources. I did not go through all of the sources provided; however, do note (1) some of the sources could not be found as the URL has been moved such as this-1 and and this-2, thus pls use "Most commonly used parameters in horizontal format" of Template:Cite web. (2) IMBD, official home page, home pages, user generated sources are not considered independent reliable sources. Sources such as this-3 and this-4. (3) Sources need to talk about the subject in lenght and in details and not only passing mention, for this-5 can not be used to contribute to the nobility of the subject (4) Sources that do not directly relate to the subject can not be used such as this-6. This-7 is a good source. Pls do a clean up as per the comments above and when it is done let me know so I could help to review it. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 13:11, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
@CASSIOPEIA: Hi, again. Here is a list of good sources but I do not have access to all pages of these books, and here is a description of a single book with a list (a content) with Slovak film directors, made by Slovak Film Institute, in 2005. Maybe our colleagues from Slovakia can be helpful in this case. Cheers! -- Terraflorin (talk) 10:00, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
Hi Terraflorin, thank you. Pls remove all sources from https://www.csfd.cz and sources which would not be found. Once you have done that, click the submit button and inform me, and I will review it and get it publish. thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:09, 23 April 2019 (UTC)

Lawrence, son of KeményEdit

Dear Terraflorin! On 14 May 2020, You added info to the article Lawrence of Transylvania, which suggests that this nobleman acted as military commander in the Banate of Severin during a Bulgarian invasion in 1259-60. However, my sources say that commander was a namesake contemporary, Lawrence, son of Kemény, so I moved text and two references into that article (I will expand the newly created article soon). During the attack, this Lawrence served as Ban of Severin. Unfortunately, there were four or five Lawrence in those decades, who elevated into royal dignities, and it is difficult to distinguish them. For instance, Lawrence of Transylvania himself later also served as Ban of Severin (in 1263). If your sources might say differently (Fine, Madgearu), please feel free to contact me. Cheers, --Norden1990 (talk) 20:31, 25 July 2020 (UTC)
