Unreferenced BLPsEdit

Hello SnappingTurtle! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 1 of the articles that you created is currently tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 2,146 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Dead links Mutilated currencyEdit

Hi, I saw you removed a couple of dead links from the mutilated currency article. Although such links may seem useless at first glance, and be annoying to readers, they should not be summarily removed. Such links often are helpful in the "detective work" because they indicate what sources were used when the article was written, and tell of likely places where the information can be recovered. The best way to handle dead links is to update the links in accordance with the website (in this, the information had merely moved to a new address on the same website). If this is not possible, tag the dead links with a {{deadlink}} template. In many cases, outdated webpages can still be found in the Internet Archive. Regardless of this, thank you for bringing the problem of these dead links to my and Wikipedia's attention! Sjakkalle (Check!) 07:24, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Twentygoodyears.tvseries.jpgEdit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Twentygoodyears.tvseries.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:27, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Intertitle for Go On (TV Series).jpg)Edit

Thanks for uploading File:Intertitle for Go On (TV Series).jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. Speedy deletion nomination of AeroscraftEdit

Hello SnappingTurtle,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Aeroscraft for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Deepanshu M. (talk) 16:25, 28 October 2015 (UTC)

I have no idea why you're notifying me of this. I don't see my name in any edits. SnappingTurtle (talk) 00:04, 26 November 2015 (UTC)

Apollo launch escape vehicle moved to draftspaceEdit

An article you recently created, Apollo launch escape vehicle, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
