Orrick Glenday Johns gets zero hits on Google, and appears to be of no general relevance. I will recommend for deletion unless you can advise against.

Yes, I ran the check myself once I saw the redirect, and ran "asphalt and other poems" too. One reason I was quick of the mark was the name of his mum Minehaha - I thought this might be a spoof, and with Michael on the rampage too! Mind you, I've still never heard of him. sorry jimfbleak 15:46 6 Jun 2003 (UTC)
The doctor who delivered her was reading "Last of the Mohicans", I think, and they were casting about for a name. Her sisters also had odd names. As to hearing of him, I probably wouldn't have if he weren't my grandmother's cousin.

Notability of Margarite Frances BairdEdit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Margarite Frances Baird, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Margarite Frances Baird seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Margarite Frances Baird, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Speedy deletion nomination of Jefferson's salt mountainEdit

A tag has been placed on Jefferson's salt mountain requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Tenth Legion, VirginiaEdit

Any idea where the name comes from? And if you're going to add coordinates to an article, there's a template which then displays them as a link to maps - see the article now. PamD (talk) 23:32, 12 November 2010 (UTC)

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preferenceEdit

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 22:15, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 27Edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Amguri College, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chadar (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:16, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
