I need help with editingEdit

Hi, I really need help with editing. Do you think that you could help me? I would be very thankful for some help. Davidgoodheart (talk) 03:53, 7 January 2020 (UTC)

Have you read this Wikipedia:Tutorial yet? Editor2020 (talk) 04:07, 7 January 2020 (UTC)

17 days ago, you reverted User:Shegokrazy's edit to the article about the Hebrew month of Nisan. Your edit' while correct, doesn't explain why it is reverting the edit made before it. Primal Groudon (talk) 16:08, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

I thought it was blatantly obvious.Editor2020 (talk) 20:29, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

Yes, and it's also blatantly obvious you're a troll. Congratulations. You made Wikipedia a failure. Nashhinton (talk) 19:09, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

Actually, I'm a Gnome. Editor2020 (talk) 19:13, 25 March 2020 (UTC)

And I'm a Centaur and I stomped on you. Nashhinton (talk) 19:15, 25 March 2020 (UTC)' Incidentally, blatantly obvious is grammatically incorrect because it's wordiness.

A kitten for you!Edit

You are most welcome.

Muhammad prophecies in the bibleEdit

could you tell me why the part of my contribution is not yet published, is it possible to publish only a few sections — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noureline (talkcontribs) 09:35, 5 March 2020 (UTC)

If you make an edit and it is reverted you need to discuss you changes on the article's Talk page and seek WP:Consensus there. Editor2020 (talk) 15:53, 5 March 2020 (UTC)

Not sure if I agree with your removalEdit

I am not sure if I agree with this removal. It is not "Jewish", but it is part of "Judaism", and the article title is Judaism after all. Debresser (talk) 01:47, 10 March 2020 (UTC)

Noahidism is specifically for non-Jews. But if you feel strongly about it you can always revert. I'm not going to Edit War about it. Editor2020 (talk) 01:58, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
I have requested input on the article's Talk page.Editor2020 (talk) 02:19, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
Will comment there. Thanks. Debresser (talk) 10:47, 10 March 2020 (UTC)

You have removed the similarities of Wudan and the Kurdish word Xudan/Khodan which means owner is still today a word to describe God. Why?? Are you a Persian? Mohammed Ali Zahedjekta 00:17, 6 June 2020 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mherki (talkcontribs)

It was irrelevant to the article. (And no, I'm not Persian. How silly.) Editor2020 (talk) 00:21, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

Please explain why you have reverted this edit (; you have not stated why? Those images, added to the gallery, are not only rare but convey the Sino-Tibet culture and influence on the subject (like this one:,_from_China,_Yuan_Dynasty,_14th_century_CE,_British_Museum.jpg). Thank you Neuroforever (talk) 14:37, 27 March 2020 (UTC)

Self reverted.Editor2020 (talk) 18:15, 27 March 2020 (UTC)

I made an edit saying a reference had been misquoted. You reverted it. Did you check the reference before you did so? 2A00:23C7:F807:1D01:204B:EE6B:DF77:3461 (talk) 14:05, 17 April 2020 (UTC)

"Nothing comes from nothing" articleEdit

I don't understand why you deleted my section "the genesis of the universe". The information in this section is totally obvious and does not requires reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 17:23, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

On Wikipedia it does. Editor2020 (talk) 20:39, 28 May 2020 (UTC)

The Fullhearted Pursuit of Truth Blinds to the Progress that was MadeEdit

I dont get why you deleted the edits that I made. All of those edits were neccesary information in order to comprehend the articles point. If one did not know that ordinarily, holy scripture rendered ones hands impure, then the sentance would lack reasoning. If the verse to not cut off oneself from the Jewish nation was not explained, then although the connection would seem obvious, to a Non-Jew the matter might be unclear. Did you simply revert the entire edit without taking heed to its contents? The fact that you even reverted links that I placed shows that without even caring as to the edits purpose, you just erased it due to one or two negligent acts of myself. Why? SamsonKriger (talk) 21:57, 12 June 2020 (UTC)

As I state in my edit summary, your edits added commentary, unreferenced additions and improperly added links. If you could provide references for your additions I would love to see them added.Editor2020 (talk) 22:01, 12 June 2020 (UTC)

Roman numerals as chaptersEdit

Is there any WP guidelines on the usage of Roman numerals as chapter numbers? I came across an issue in Ben Sira#Life where the usage is problematic. The section has "In the hymn of chapter li [...]" where "li" is meant to be "51", but this could easily be confused with "Ii" (meaning "2") if the user doesn't have a decently differentiated font (which is most of them). I couldn't find a WP guideline on Roman numeral usage, on whether there is an issue with capitalizing the letters, or if they could just be replaced with normal arabic-style numerals (i.e., "51" in the mentioned example). — al-Shimoni (talk) 01:29, 20 June 2020 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but I don't know. I agree that it is confusing and would probably change the usage. If anyone objects they can easily revert. Editor2020 (talk) 01:35, 20 June 2020 (UTC)

Third opinion request at Enos (Book of Mormon prophet)Edit

Can I get a third opinion from you over at Enos (Book of Mormon prophet)? There's a disagreement whether an explicit statement is needed regarding the historicity of Enos, such as this. I argue that the "According to the BoM..." or "is a figure in the BoM" is sufficient for NPOV and the explicit statement boarders on needless POV-pushing on minor articles. I do think such a statement is warranted on larger articles like Nephites or Lamanites where the historicity question for these topics explicitly appears in sources. The argument to not include such a statement is supported IMO by the lack of such a statement on biblical figure articles like Noah or Methuselah of similar historicity. This is also inline with the previous feedback at WT:RELIGION. Thanks. --FyzixFighter (talk) 18:23, 4 July 2020 (UTC)

"Enos purportedly lived sometime in the 6th century BC" is not supported in the article's text and should not be in the WP:LEAD section unless a Historicity section is added to the article.

As you were WP:CANVAS'd into this discussion ( here}, I believe, that by Wikipedia policy, any opinions you have on this edit are to be disregarded. See the "Vote-stacking" section of WP:CANVAS - it fits this incident to a T. JimKaatFan (talk) 15:57, 5 July 2020 (UTC)

Regarding reversions on the Hadith pageEdit

Hi, I'm the user who attempted to add a wikilink to the PBUH wiki page in the Hadith article. I initially undid your revert as there was no explanation, you then re-reverted my edit with an explanation, which I tend to agree with.

The thing is, I still believe it would be relevant to link to the PBUH page to explain the use of (SAW) in the context of the quotes. Do you have any suggestion on how to do this properly? I'm not too experienced at editing Wikipedia, so your feedback is very welcome.

Redirect article from ex nihilo to creatio ex nihiloEdit

I'm sure that whoever originally created the article ex nihilo (out of nothing, naturally) meant that it should treat creatio ex nihilo as its subject, but the choice of ex nihilo as the article title has meant that the lead and first few paras have to deal with distinguishing between creatio ex nihilo and the ex nihilo nihil fit idea. It would be much easier if the title were simply creatio ex nihilio, which in fact it once was. I've canvassed all authors who have edited this in the last month, (i.e., October 2020) asking for views. Achar Sva (talk) 07:16, 31 October 2020 (UTC)

A Copy edit requestEdit

Hello once again,

To support and rescue a new article by a new user, as per Wikipedia due process, I have written a draft afresh from scratch @ Talk:Women related laws in Pakistan/Temp; Requesting first level of copy edit support since presently I am looking for article draft to get passed just as a 'Stub' is enough.

Yo Ho HoEdit

6 days ago, this edit by User:Strangethingintheland was reverted: I've looked over the guidelines about typical reasons that something gets reverted, but can't seem to figure out what the reason for reversion was. Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Did you not notice that I self-reverted just a few seconds later? Editor2020 (talk) 02:41, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

Trolling, harassment, and personal attacksEdit

Hi, thank you for your contributions on Wikipedia. I noticed that you thanked me for my revert on Noahidism, I really appreciate that. Unfortunately, a newcomer has repeatedly accused me of harassment, being an "imbecile" and an anti-Semite by making personal attacks, threats, annoying contacts, and intimidation on my own Talk page as well as the anonymous IP vandal's Talk page (I erroneously thanked him for an edit he made on another article, I wish I didn't do that). By the looks of it, it seems like his account is entirely devoted to trolling other users and doesn't seem well-disposed to contribute to this encyclopedia. What do you think about it? Should I report him to the AIV?--GenoV84 (talk) 10:58, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
