The Retinal Oxidase PageEdit

I don't know my biochemistry. Does retinal oxidase catalyze retinal to retinoic acid reversibly or irreversibly? The back and forward arrows suggest reversibly. But I was under the impression that it was an irreversible reaction. thanks for your help.

@ In writing reactions for enzyme classes it is common to use equilibrium notation. A reaction of a specific enzyme construct acting under defined experimental conditions is better written using more specific notation. You are correct in saying that aldehyde oxidase often irreversibly catalyze.--Dcirovic (talk) 21:01, 16 June 2019 (UTC)
