Corfupedia School Project (Watch teaser)

Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting my user page. I am Mathematician with M.Sc. in the Foundations of Informatics and I participate in the Wikimedia movement because I believe that access to knowledge should be free for everyone.

I was highly active English Wikipedia administrator for 9 years (2008-2017) with more than 10,000 admin actions and member of its bot approval group. I am currently administrator in the Greek Wikipedia and I have contributions in many Wikipedias.

I am considered as one of the most active editors, with more than 1,000,000 edits, and bot operators. Currently, I am member of Wikimedia Community User Group Greece and I am engaged in outreach activities. My main interests are Wikipedia's Gender Gap, Wikipedia Education Program, Photo competitions and Hackathons. In addition, I contribute as programmer and software tester.

I highly contributed in the standardisation of Wikiprojects, infoboxes, templates etc. (see: WPBiography watch, Infoboxes, WikiProjects, WikiProject stats, Category:Wikipedia maintenance categories sorted by month)

A part of my scientitic work can be found at researchgate and Academia. I have published some of my lectures under GFDL. See more here.

I support these essays: Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Redirects from foreign languages, Wikipedia:Laws of hats.

March 9, 2012 Hypothesis: Due to expansion of Wikipedia all pages will end up having a hatnote to a dab page. At least all pages without parentheses in their title.

A list of my activities in more detail follows.
