Aerodyne and AerostatEdit

The article doesn't explain the terms aerodyne and aerostat (sp?); I guess maybe the difference is analogous to the difference between dynamic and static stability in control theory? -- the dynamic version only achieves lift dynamically, but the latter version has lift statically, or intrinsically? What’s wrong with the word vehicle?Edit

Is an aircraft not a vehicle? Aren’t they use for transport and such? (talk) 03:24, 27 October 2018 (UTC)

What's wrong with the word machine? Is an aircraft not a machine? - BilCat (talk) 03:56, 27 October 2018 (UTC)

Why aren’t other vehicles labeled as machines then? (talk) 05:45, 5 November 2018 (UTC)

What difference does it make? - BilCat (talk) 05:55, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
Btw, no one ever made a movie called Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Vehicles.

Relative to aircraft, what does "pose" mean--what terms does it include? Roll, Pitch, Yaw only? Does it also include a velocity vector (is there a better name for this, like "track")? Does it also include x, y, z position? Seems like "pose" should be added to this page? JohnM7190 (talk) 14:38, 21 May 2020 (UTC)
