→Crude Monte Carlo simulation: The original claim was that having the number of simulations increased by a factor of 10 halves the standard deviation under the premise that it scales like the inverse square-root of the number of simulations. To get twice the precision (i.e. half the uncertainty), one needs four times (2^2) the number of original simulations. Also, 'halve' should be used in place of 'half,' as it's used as a verb.
