Marco Engelhardt

Marco Engelhardt (born 2 December 1980) is a German former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder.

Club careerEdit

Engelhardt previously played for Karlsruher SC, 1. FC Nürnberg and 1. FC Kaiserslautern. On 3 March 2007, he played his first Bundesliga match for Nürnberg against Arminia Bielefeld.[1] On 19 December 2008, he announced his return to Karlsruher SC, signing a contract until 30 June 2012.[2]

International careerEdit

Engelhardt has earned three caps for the Germany national football team.

Post-playing careerEdit

After retiring as a player, Engelhardt works as a scout for Werder Bremen.[3]
