Description
Deutsch: Die Stadt hatte bis zur Eingliederung von Kleinsachsenheim am 1. Dezember 1971, der 1973 die Eingliederungen von Häfnerhaslach, Hohenhaslach, Ochsenbach und Spielberg folgten, den Namen Großsachsenheim getragen. Ihre Siegel zeigten schon im Jahre 1570 das Büffelgehörn aus dem Wappen des kurz zuvor ausgestorbenen Ortsadels unter der Hirschstange als dem Zeichen der württembergischen Herrschaft. Seit dem Jahre 1596 sind die Farben des Stadtwappens belegt. Die Flagge wurde am 19. September 1966 vom Innenministerium verliehen.
